Mr Haruyuki Urata

Haruyuki Urata joined ORIX Corporation in 1977 and was appointed President of ORIX Commodities Corporation in 2001. After holding a number of key positions, he became an Executive Officer in 2005. In 2006, he was appointed Corporate Senior Vice President responsible for the Corporate Planning Office. In 2007, he was named a Director. Since January 2008, he has served as Deputy President in charge of overseas operations and been responsible for the Office of the President. He was appointed Director and Chairman of ORIX Australia on 1 April 2008.

Deputy Chairman
Mr Junichi Hayashi

Junichi Hayashi joined ORIX Corporation in 1980. Mr Hayashi has extensive experience in finance and overseas operations, having held assignments in the United States of America, South Korea and Thailand. Mr Hayashi first joined the ORIX Australia Board as Alternate Director for Yoshitaka Matsuno on 21 July 2003 and was appointed Alternate Director for Yoshihiko Miyauchi on 6 September 2004. Mr Hayashi was appointed Director on 21 March 2005, becoming Deputy Chairman on 24 July 2006.

Director
Mr Kiyoshi Fushitani

Kiyoshi Fushitani joined ORIX Corporation in 1975 following his two years at Sumitomo Bank (now Sumitomo-Mitsui Bank). After serving in the Treasury Department, he moved into international financial operations, including assignments in Singapore, London, and New York. In 2000, he was appointed Director & Corporate Executive Officer of ORIX Life Insurance Corporation in Tokyo. Since January 2007 he has served as Senior Managing Director & Deputy Head of the International Headquarters at ORIX Tokyo. He was appointed Director of ORIX Australia on 17 December 2007.

Director
Mr Yuki Ohshima

Since joining ORIX Corporation in 1971, Mr Yuki Ohshima has gained significant experience in overseas operations and finance, holding a number of senior management positions including President of ORIX Asia Limited, Deputy President of Korea Development Leasing Corporation and Deputy Head of the International Headquarters. In March 2004 he was appointed the President of ORIX Auto Leasing Korea Corporation and in June 2005 was promoted to the Head of International Headquarters and an Executive Officer. In August 2005 Mr Ohshima was appointed a Director on the Board of ORIX Australia.

Executive Director
Mr Kunihiko Ishiba

Upon joining ORIX Corporation in Tokyo in 1990 as a university graduate, Mr Kunihiko Ishiba has gained extensive experience in sales, marketing and credit in both retail and corporate financing for domestic and international markets. Mr Ishiba was appointed a Director of ORIX Australia on 27 September 2007.

Managing Director
Mr John J. Carter

John Carter joined ORIX Australia in its foundation year of 1986 and has been an integral member of the management team over the past 21 years. Mr Carter joined the ORIX Australia Board in March 2002 and currently holds the position of Managing Director. Mr Carter is an Associate of the Securities Institute of Australia.
