Accident and claims management

We give you the service and support you need to get back on the road sooner.

Accidents do happen. It's a fact of life. And while we can't always prevent them, we do everything we can to minimise their impact. That means 24 hour roadside assistance, replacement vehicles and complete management of claims and repairs.

If a driver is involved in an accident we will organise towing. We understand that time off the road costs you money. So while we start the process of insurance claims and repairs, we can provide your driver with a replacement vehicle. In most areas, they are back on the road within 24 hours.

Processing claims and arranging repairs is all taken care of; from liaising with drivers to clarify details, to organising and approving repair quotes and monitoring payments. And every quarter you are provided with claims reports. We can even manage an escrow facility if you want to self-insure.

Our claims management service makes budgeting easier, with no unexpected towing or car hire costs. And the time you save can be spent elsewhere. All of which means pain free accident administration.

We are one of Australia's only truly independent fleet managers so you have the flexibility to pick and choose from any manufacturer. In most cases we can turn around quotes within 24 hours. And because of our buying power, we can negotiate highly competitive prices.

We let you know when vehicles are coming off lease, with expiry reports and impartial vehicle inspections. So you have plenty of time to arrange repairs and order new vehicles.

We can even arrange for the sale of privately owned vehicles through our weekly auction of off-lease vehicles. You have final say on the sale price, enjoy the same commission structure as ORIX and receive payment within 21 days.

Driver training management

There are no shortcuts to road safety, which is why we can arrange everything from driver training to on-going safety reports.

Over 40% of workplace fatalities happen on the road. Which is why vehicle safety is such an important OH&S issue.

We manage all aspects of your driver training, from notifying employees to reporting attendance and organising refresher course reminders. We can arrange courses through our national network of ORIX approved suppliers or the trainer of your choice. Whether it's courses for one or one hundred, we will ensure your employees receive the education they need.

We can monitor all training so you can keep on top of trends in driver behaviour. Working together we can minimise the risks on the road. After all, safety is everyone's business.

Electronic log book

Forget log book hassles forever with our revolutionary FBT Optimiser. It meets ATO recording requirements at the push of a button.

Life's too short for log books. Our revolutionary FBT Optimiser makes them obsolete. You can now produce an ATO compliant electronic log of a vehicles usage at the touch of a button.

The FBT Optimiser utilises Telematics technology to record the date, time, length and duration of any journey. It also records the point of departure and destination, as well as allowing the driver to identify the type of trip - either business or private. Employees are free to focus on their job, not journals.

It can be fitted to any make or model car and is easily moved to another vehicle when the three month reporting period finishes. Employees can check their trip details on line and enter additional information at a time that suits them.

As a result you can accurately calculate the business use percentage and potentially reduce your FBT liability. The FBT Optimiser delivers reports in a format the Tax Office can't fault. It's a hassle free way to keep everyone happy.

E-tag management

Let us do the leg work for you. We order, deliver and monitor e-tags and manage fines to keep your drivers on the road.

With our e-tag management system you have one less thing to worry about. We take on responsibility for administering CityLink and e-tags for you and your drivers.

We order e-tags and ensure they are delivered to you within three days of vehicle delivery. If an e-tag is lost or faulty we arrange to replace it. We monitor usage and fines for every vehicle in your fleet. And we can incorporate e-tag charges into your monthly invoice, sorted by your cost centre for each vehicle.

We also manage fines, ensuring the registration of your fault is not at risk. When we do our job it makes it easier for you to do yours.

Fleet reporting and invoicing

Stay ahead of the pack with a reporting system that delivers more insights into fleet management and efficiency.

Informed decisions rely on accurate and relevant reporting. At ORIX we provide you with the information you need, giving you an indispensable insight into your fleet.

Our online Customer Centre puts fleet information at your fingertips, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We also provide exception reporting focused on the key attributes of your fleet. Whether it's fuel consumption, kilometres traveled or repeat claims or fines, we help you identify trends, anomalies and areas of concern. Not to mention highlighting potential savings.

If you have specific needs we can customise fleet data and reports to meet the demands of internal audits or analysis. Billing information can also be provided in a format that can be uploaded directly into your own operating system.

Invoicing is standardised and can be delivered in either hard or soft copy. We can also manage third party payments for items such as fuel and incorporate the costs in your monthly invoice.

All of which allows you to analyse your fleet and resolve issues before they arise.

Fuel management

Your choice of fuel cards, delivered within days, plus comprehensive e-reports and billings to make fuel management straightforward.

Fuel is the lifeblood of any fleet. At ORIX we give you the flexibility and support you need for cost effective motoring.

We offer you a choice of fuel card options, delivered to you or your drivers within three days. The ORIX Card is one of the country's most widely accepted fuel cards, giving you access to more than 2,000 Caltex and Ampol outlets. You can also use any of the 6,500 service stations that are part of the Motorcharge network. As an ORIX Card holder you receive a rebate straight off the pump price at Caltex and Ampol.

Alternatively you can choose the ORIX StarCard. It offers the same benefits as the ORIX Card but without access to Motorcharge outlets. It also offers the added security of a PIN.

Whichever card you choose, we can help you negotiate the best deal with your fuel supplier. And if you would rather use alternative fuel cards, we will order them for you and dispatch them the day they arrive.

We offer the option of including your fuel costs in your monthly billings, sorted by cost centre. And we also provide exception reporting and comprehensive fuel reports so you always know exactly where you stand.

Infringement notice management

We take the heartache out of fines management with administration, monitoring and reporting systems.

No one likes fines. Especially when you have to deal with the paperwork they create. At ORIX we can make infringement management simple.

We can arrange for traffic fines or unpaid tolls to come directly to us. We generate a statutory declaration and forward it to the relevant driver. We continue to monitor and report on infringements so the registration of your fleet and the productivity of your drivers are not put at risk.

When it comes to choosing a maintenance plan we have a range of flexible and cost effective options. With our Manufacturer's Scheduled Servicing Plan regular maintenance costs are built into the fixed monthly lease payments. You not only benefit from ORIX's buying power, you're protected from inflation over the life of the lease.

Our Five Star Maintenance Plan covers all repairs, including major breakdowns. We can spread these costs evenly throughout the term of your lease to allow for accurate forecasts and budgeting.

We also offer a Tyre Plan that allows you to pay for replacement tyres as required or include them in the monthly rental. Either way our purchasing power translates into big savings. In some cases up to 30%.

Registration and insurance

Get great rates on fleet insurance and leave the claims management, reporting and registration to us.

Insurance and registration is one more headache you could do without. So why not leave it to ORIX. We make short work of insurance and registration and offer you significant cost savings along the way.

We can arrange quick turnaround on comprehensive insurance for your fleet. We provide complete claims management, as well as analysis and reporting. Our service agent network provides rapid approval of repairs. And we can provide a replacement vehicle after an accident to get your employees back on the road sooner.

Our bulk purchasing power means we can negotiate competitive premiums and benefits other companies can't. For instance we offer $20 million third party liability, no excess on windscreen claims, lease payout protection and cover for personal property. You can also elect to have a faultless excess clause.

Insurance premiums can be incorporated into your monthly lease payments to help your cash flow planning.

Similarly, we build registration costs into your monthly payments, spreading the cost over the year. ORIX also makes sure all your vehicles are registered before delivery and their annual renewal.

Replacement Vehicles

We offer replacement vehicles within 24 hours in most areas to keep your business on the road.

When vehicles are off road they quickly drive down productivity. Which is why we operate a fleet of over 500 replacement vehicles to minimise time and money lost to accidents, breakdown or theft.

We offer corporate customers no cost, 24 hour vehicle replacement in most areas when a leased vehicle suffers mechanical breakdown.

You can also choose to have a replacement vehicle as part of your lease agreement. If your vehicle is off the road for more than one working day, we will provide you with a replacement in most areas. It doesn't matter whether it's a result of accident, theft or major repairs. Not only are you back on the road sooner, you don't have to worry about unexpected hire charges.

So no matter what challenges lie on the road ahead, we can keep you moving.

Roadside Assistance

Your drivers have access to 24 hour roadside assistance and replacement vehicles to get them back on the road sooner.

We can all do with a helping hand sometimes. At ORIX we provide your drivers with the services and support they need when the road takes an unexpected turn.

No matter where they are, drivers can access our 24 hour national roadside assistance. That includes help with everything from keys locked inside cars and flat batteries to towing and sorting through accident claims.

You can also elect to have a replacement vehicle provided as part of your lease. This service is offered regardless of whether the car is stolen, in an accident or undergoing mechanical repairs.

If your drivers already belong to a motor club such as NRMA, RACQ or RAA we can arrange to manage renewals and administration for them. We pay annual membership fees which are then converted into a monthly charge and incorporated into the appropriate lease.
