How to apply for a Novated Lease quote with ORIX?
Getting a Novated Lease quote is quick and easy with ORIX. Here’s how the process works:
1. Determine if a Novated Lease is right for you
Before you dive into the process, it’s essential to know if a Novated Lease aligns with your financial situation. Start by working out an indication of how much you can potentially afford, considering your income and expenses.
2. Register your details online
If a Novated Lease seems like a good fit, the next step is to register your details online with ORIX to start your quote. After registering, you’ll need to complete your user profile. It will help to have your payslip handy as you will need your employment details to ensure you see the correct vehicle and lease options.
3. Choose your vehicle and request a quote
Choose the type of quote that best suits your needs. You can generate a new vehicle quote with competitive pricing from ORIX.
To generate a new quote, you’ll need to choose a vehicle(s) and accessory options, lease terms and inclusions. The quote will be generated automatically within seconds. Our transparent quotes include the salary impact (from your take-home pay), residual value, accessory costs, lease term, and total finance payable.
Alternatively, if you have a vehicle quote from a motor vehicle dealer, you can upload the quote details and we can integrate that into your Novated Leasing plan.
4. Begin your application
- Current valid Australian Driver’s Licence and/or Passport: Verification is quick through GreenID, our trusted third-party provider. You’ll be prompted to photograph your government ID and to take a selfie. GreenID will then verify your identity against the Australian Government’s Document Verification Service (DVS) using end-to-end encryption. Additional documents may be requested if necessary.
- Bank account information: This is a crucial part of your Novated Lease application. We’ve partnered with illion, our trusted third-party provider, to streamline the process. During the application, you’ll be redirected to the illion bankstatement retrieval service. You will be asked to enter your details and accept the terms and conditions. After selecting the bank you’d like to provide a statement for, you’ll use your internet banking credentials to log in. Login credentials are never stored, and during the login process data is encrypted with bank-level 256-bit encryption. Once your statements have been retrieved, the relevant information will be provided to ORIX. For more details, you can review illion’s security procedures by following the provided link. ORIX will not have access to your internet banking credentials nor your bank account at any point during the process.
- Current residential rates notice: If you are a homeowner, please provide your current residential rates notice.
5. Get a decision on your application
Our team will review your application promptly. You will be notified once your application has been reviewed.
6. Sign your Novated Lease Agreement
If you are approved for a novated lease, you will be sent the Novated Lease quotation and order form to review and sign. This legal document outlines the terms and conditions of your Novated Lease. Make sure to read it thoroughly, ask questions if you have any, and seek legal advice if necessary. On returning the signed document to ORIX, you are requesting for ORIX to provide you with a novated lease and requesting for your employer to agree to it.
ORIX will then arrange for approval from your employer. If ORIX and your employer accept your request, you will be notified.
7. Final steps
Review and sign your Novated Lease quotation and order form, in most cases we can send this to you via DocuSign or you can sign and return to ORIX. This legal document outlines the terms and conditions of your Novated Lease. Make sure to read it thoroughly, ask questions if you have any, and seek legal advice if necessary.
ORIX will then arrange approval from your employer.
